A simple aztec design engraved on a piece of 1/4" birch with a 40w K40. 140mm speed at about 3 power.

I attempted initially to cut it out using the laser, but realized pretty quick it would take a number of passes, so just used the bandsaw and cleaned it up on a stationary disk sander. I imagine it could have cut it with the laser, but would have taken a bit and burnt the edges more. If nothing else the laser draws a perfect line for cutting & sanding lines!
